At the Barn
A program for children 3 to 10 years old. Judy Semroc, Naturalist & owner of Naturespark Ohio will give a fun presentation on insects. She will also take everyone on a short nature walk, weather permitting.

October 19 & 20 - Central Atlantic Region - State Garden Clubs (CAR-SGC) Annual Conference.
You may register for the full conference or for individual days. Seven different speakers will provide information you may take home and apply to your own gardens/communities. The Ohio Judges Council will be sponsoring a petite design specialty flower show. On the third day (10/21) is an optional full-day bus tour that includes the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, Lakeview Cemetery, and a box lunch at Edgewater Pavilion.

Program - Cacti and Succulents, let’s dig a little deeper
Big plant, small pot, and a well-drained soil mix, that’s the secret to growing succulents. We’ll dig into the details of soil, fertilizer, botany, accessioning, and even taxonomy to deepen your appreciation of cacti and other succulents.
Tim Malinich was been working in the horticulture industry for almost 50years. He collects & sells cacti and succulents with his wife. He operates a small pick your own farm in Nova, Ohio where they grow black and blue berries, elderberries, currants, and Asian pears.
